Being Catholic is all about loving God's wonderful gift of life. Our motto, Loving Life, says exactly that: we're proud to tell everyone we know that all life is sacred, and that every single person is deserving of our love and protection, from conception to natural death. By Loving Life, we daily give witness to the truth of Christ.

Here's the challenge: use your own unique artistic and creative skills to design a pro-life logo for Loving Life 2011. The logo can be computer generated or hand drawn. Most importantly, the logo should reflect your understanding of how we show respect for God's gift of life. Your logo can be submitted electronically or by mail and must include a signed release (if submitted electronically, the release must be mailed within 48 hours of submission).

The finalist logos will be posted on respectlifetoday.com, and the contest winner will be chosen by the number of votes received on the website or by text message. The winning logo will be displayed on apparel and in Diocesan promotions.

Please read these contest rules for complete details:

• Create a logo using the words "Loving Life 2011."
• The logo may include one or more colors.
• The winning logo will be displayed in several sizes from 2 inches to 2 feet, so design it to be modified to different sizes.
• A logo is a simple design, which is easy to identify. The quality of the artwork should be outstanding in its creativity and presentation.
• The design may be computer generated or drawn by hand.
• A signed Diocese of Trenton Logo Contest Release Agreement (24k, .pdf) must accompany your mailed entry (Note: If entries are sent electronically, a signed Release Agreement must be mailed with 48 hours of electronic submission.)
• Submitted artwork becomes the property of the Diocese of Trenton.
• Logo designs are due no later than October 15, 2010.
• Five Finalists will be chosen by November 1, 2010
• The grand prize winner will be chosen by vote on www.respectlifetoday.com by December 1, 2010. One vote per person.
• The grand prize winner will receive a new Apple MacBook (laptop).
• Finalist logos will be displayed on the Respect Life Today website and in public places.
• Votes will be counted by website votes on www.respectlifetoday.com to choose the winner among the five finalists.
• Winning logo will be placed on apparel, media, correspondence, and other promotional tools for use by the Respect Life Ministries of the diocese and used widely in our communications efforts.
